Magic Circle Announces the Addition of New Co-Founder
Magic Circle officially welcomes Louis Meng, Esq. as Co-Founder.
HONG KONG, July 13, 2020- The Magic Circle team is happy to announce the addition of Louis Meng as Co-Founder. Mr. Meng is a well-regarded international attorney and will be an integral member of the leadership team, bringing in more than 20 years of legal and business transaction expertise.
He has advised many multinational and Chinese companies, financial institutions, and emerging growth companies in a wide range of business and corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and blockchain and crypto-currency compliance. His specialties are capital markets and cross border laws. He has assisted a variety of Chinese companies to conduct business in the United States and globally. Mr. Meng serves as the Practice Group Leader and Partner-in-Charge at the China office of a global AM 100 law firm and was previously a partner at several major international law firms.
He has a LL.B. degree from Soochow University Law School in Taiwan, and holds a Juris Doctor and LL.M. from Southern Methodist University of Dallas, Texas. He is licensed to practice in New York and the District of Columbia. Additionally, Mr. Meng is a distinguished professor of the Lawyers Institute of East China University of Political Science and Law. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
